How to use a Husqvarna Automower® coupler
The original Husqvarna Automower® coupler helps you when you’re installing, repairing or extending the boundary wire for your robotic lawn mower. This coupler ensures reliable contact and moisture protection, providing a robust and durable connection.
How to use an Automower® coupler
1. Insert the wires
Push each wire into one of the three holes at the bottom of the coupler. The below image shows the optimum way to connect the coupler to ensure excellent performance.
Ensure the wires are properly inserted.
When using the Husqvarna Automower® Heavy Duty Boundary Wire Reinforced, remove the outer protective layers before inserting the wire into the coupler. Specifically, peel away the outer black layer and the white mesh layer, as illustrated in the image below.
2. Secure the wires
Press the coupler with pliers. Start by pressing down in the middle part (1), then press down on the sides (2). Ensure that the contact is securely closed.
3. Position the coupler
Ensure that the coupler is placed close to the ground to prevent any damage from the robotic lawn mower during operation.
