Fully charge the battery
Make sure that the battery is fully charged before using it.
Even if your battery shows 4 green LED's, it might be already discharge to 76%, by placing the battery on the charger, if the battery is not charging, e.g. the status LED on the battery is lit on then lit off, which means is fully charged (100%).
