Petrol Chainsaw support

Switch off the chainsaw and allow it to cool

Loosen the guide bar nuts slightly

Turn the tension screw clockwise to tighten or counter-clockwise to loosen

Ensure the chain sits snug against the guide bar

Make sure there is no sagging on the underside of the bar

Pull the chain by hand to confirm it moves freely and snaps back into place

Tighten the guide bar nuts securely

Perform a final tension check before use
