You will get the best mowing results if the grass is dry.
Do not mow the grass in the rain. Wet grass can clog your lawn mower.
To get a good result while mowing:
• Always use a sharp blade. A blunt blade gives an irregular result and the cut surface of the grass becomes yellow. A sharp blade also uses less energy than a blunt blade.
• Do not cut more than ⅓ of the length of the grass. Cut first with the cutting height set high. Examine the result and lower the cutting height to an applicable level. If the grass is very long, drive slowly and cut 2 times if necessary.
• Cut in different directions each time to prevent stripes in the lawn.
• Keep the cutting cover clean. Build-up from grass and dirt on the inner side of the cutting cover can decrease the cutting result.
Follow the step-by-step guide for instructions on how to clean the inner surface of the cutting cover.
1
Turn the lawn mower off.
2
Put the product on its side with the air filter and spark plug in the top position.
3
Clean the underside of the mower from grass or other debris. Use a brush to perform this task.
