How to clean a cooling system on a leaf blower

Clean the cooling system once a week, or more often if you work in dusty conditions.

A dirty or clogged cooling system can cause a leaf blower to overheat.

The parts of a cooling system are:

  • The air intake on a starter

  • The cooling fins on a cylinder

  • The cylinder cover

For this you will need:

  • Protective gloves

  • Cleaning brush

How to clean a cooling system on a leaf blower

  1. Clean the cooling system with a brush once a week, or more frequently if necessary.

  2. Make sure that the cooling system is not dirty or blocked.
