To check if the fuel tank vent is clogged, do the following test:
1. Immediately after the engine stalls and cannot be restarted, place the unit on its side and fully loosen the fuel tank cap.
2. Retighten the fuel tank cap securely.
3. Attempt to start the engine. If it starts but stalls again after a short time, the fuel tank vent is likely clogged.
Inspect the top surface of the top cover and check the four vent holes. Clean the holes if they are blocked by dirt or debris.
