⚠️ A clogged air filter can cause debris to be sucked into the engine.
The engine does not get enough air if the air filter is clogged.

Remove the air filter.

Tap out the filter to remove debris.

Check the air filter by holding it to a light. If you cannot see light on the other side of the filter, then it needs to be replaced.
Note: The air filter paper cartridge should be replaced every 100 hours of operation under normal circumstances, and even more often when operating in dirty or dusty conditions.

Install the cleaned or new filter.
