How to change the fuel filter on a chainsaw
Keeping a fuel filter in your Husqvarna chainsaw clean is important for the longevity of the product as well as for it to work in optimal condition.
The purpose of the fuel filter is to filter out small particles from the fuel before it enters the engine.
Replacing the chainsaw fuel filter

New fuel filter: Please refer to your product’s operator’s manual for the correct fuel filter type
CAUTION: Before starting this procedure, make sure to empty the fuel tank. Do not smoke while performing this task!
Method:
Take out the old fuel filter using a special tool or your fingers.
Pull out the fuel hose from the tank unit so that the fuel filter can be removed.
Fit the new fuel filter and refit the fuel hose with filter in the tank unit.
