Battery Chainsaw support

Your Husqvarna chainsaw is equipped with a chain catcher.

The purpose of a chainsaw chain catcher is to help prevent the chain being thrown back towards the chainsaw operator if the chain breaks or becomes derailed.

Chainsaw chain catchers come in two designs

• Plastic and part of the case

• Aluminium and fixed with a small bolt

Chainsaw chain catchers can be replaced on all of the Husqvarna chainsaws. A chainsaw chain catcher should be replaced if it’s damaged.

CAUTION: Do not use your chainsaw without a chainsaw chain catcher.

Changing a chainsaw chain catcher

• Protective gloves

• Protective glasses

• Screwdriver

• Chainsaw chain catcher: Please refer to your product’s operator’s manual for the correct chainsaw chain catcher type

Method:

1. Unscrew the clutch cover from the product.

2. Unscrew the damaged chainsaw chain catcher.

3. Insert the new chainsaw chain catcher and fasten it.

4. Put back the cover and fasten it.
